Burligame Treaty 1868
Burligame Treaty was created between Unites State and China in 1868. This treaty was signed in July 28, 1868 in Washington D.C. This treaty was established to resembled a friendly relationship between China and U.S. This treaty let the U.S recognized China's right of eminent domain over its territory. This treaty was reversed in 1882 by the Chinese Exclusion Act. Burlingame treaty was named after an "American diplomat Anson Burlingame (1820-1870) served as U.S. minister to China and later as a Chinese envoy to the United States."

The Chinese Exclusion Act was established. It prohibited Chinese immigrants to get into US. It is established because of the overflowing Chinese immigrants that came to the US.
